There might be instances where we request personal information, such as your email address - of which an explicit opt-in consent will have to be given by you, solely for the purpose of delivering the results of the skin analysis if you choose to receive them electronically. Importantly, this information will not be utilized for any other purposes, and all collected data will be purged within 24 hours. You may opt not to provide any email address.

You also agree to indemnify Merz against any claims arising from the collection, use, and disclosure of that person's personal information.

Merz recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy and safety of children. Our website and services are primarily directed towards the general audience and are not directed towards children. We do not knowingly collect information about children under the age of 18 (or the age of “child” as defined in the local legislation) however in the event where we may collect information, we will make sure parental consent is achieved beforehand. You agree to indemnify, save, and hold Merz, its clients, agents, service providers, licensors, and partners, and their respective officers, employees, agents, successors and assigns harmless, to the fullest extent except as prohibited in law or equity, from and against any and all claims, losses, damages, actions, liabilities, costs and expenses including reasonable legal fees and expenses through final appeals, arising out of your use or misuse of the Site, any violation by You of these Terms of Use, any breach of the representations, warranties, and covenants made by You in connection with your use of the Site, any User Content that You Transmit via the Site, or any other act or omission by You, including your violation of any right or any rights of another, arising from your use of the Site.
